The Pedissert – Vol. 4

The Pedissert - Vol. 4

2025 was a “soft launch” for the Pedissert series, and this website in particular. Coming into 2026, I wanted to spread the word a little bit more.

When I did casting calls for the first two volumes, there were no examples of my work to show. For the Christmas volume, I did have examples to show, but I still didn’t publicly put it out there – I did show those who reached out what they were getting into.

For this volume, I publicly put out a casting call directing people to the website to see what I do, as well as what they would be getting into. I received a wide range of reactions, from praise to being compared to Dan Schneider. I resent that comparison, as I will never exploit anyone underage for anything. That’s just disgusting!

Anyway, Kendra reached out to show her interest. She had some questions, and was interested in reaching out to someone who previously participated. Amanda, who participated in Vol. 3, was willing to vouch for the fact that I’m not torturing and murdering people in my basement. 😁 I guess I got a good enough reference, because Kendra was ready to come do a shoot.

The pie colors I chose for this shoot were close to Volume 2, but with more of a neon lean. Usually, I mix in whipped frosting into the Cool Whip; this time, when I was shopping for my supplies, the local grocery store had a sale on Dolly Parton’s Buttercream Frosting. As someone who watches their budget, as well as someone who stans Dolly Parton, it was an easy choice. And in hindsight, I think it works better than the whipped frosting! While it felt slightly heavier, it was also stickier and gooier; I think the slight off-whiteness of the buttercream frosting also helps the food coloring darken better.

Admittedly, I did recycle some previous bad jokes, and was a little bit off in general. My anxiety-ridden senior dog had a stomach bug that basically kept me up the night before, and caffeine didn’t really help it that much. But we still had fun! Check out the photos and video below.

For those who are wondering, my anxiety-ridden senior dog is doing better now! Dog diarrhea is no joke.

Thanks for watching, and keep an eye out for more “epicly weird STUFF” in 2026! We really want to do a “Pi(e) Day” volume!
